At that time, you indicated that you would be willing to publicize the survey and indeed, Id be grateful if you would do that now. I have ethics approval from the University and the survey can now be accessed through the University website. This is the link: http://community.education.monash.edu.au/projects/paranormal/ I intend to leave the survey open until the end of December 2006 but a number of factors will influence that decision and I'll keep you informed. I would also be interested in receiving email versions of any promotion you do on my behalf, for my records and for my thesis document. Some websites have requested background 'copy' to promote the survey and you may wish to use all or part of the following. -------------------------------------------------------------- The Nature Incidence and Impact of Paranormal Experiences My name is Rosemary Breen and I am a Master of Education (Research) candidate in the Department of Education at Monash University, in Melbourne, Australia. As part of my studies I am conducting an online survey of the paranormal. By paranormal we mean experiences that cannot be explained using the current laws of science. These events include premonitions, out-of-body and near-death episodes, telepathy and apparitions. We know that many people believe in the paranormal but this survey is not about beliefs. It is about what people ARE and are NOT experiencing. The survey is open to anyone 18 years of age or older, regardless of whether they have or have not experienced the paranormal. The survey is anonymous and will take only 5 to 10 minutes to complete. Your time sincerity and participation in the survey are greatly appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Thanks for your help in this. The results of my trial surveys indicate that people do have interesting and relevant life stories that they are willing to tell and I'm hopeful that this survey will reach the skeptics and even those who have never spoken of the paranormal they have experienced.
