Paranormal week is back at Halton Lea Library Runcorn -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi All, Paranormal week is back at Halton Lea Library Runcorn! Monday 23 April to Friday from 27 April - 7pm to 9.15pm Admission free! There will be ghostly goings-on at Halton Lea Library as it's annual paranormal week returns - and this time it promises to be bigger and better than ever! This year's line-up includes talks on everything from ghosts and hauntings to UFOs. There will be updates on spooky happenings in Halton, plus the latest on the Runcorn big cat. Highlights include paranormal workshops, live ESP and psychokinetic tests, the regular talks and workshops provided by the Halton Libraries and Merseyside Anomalies Research Association plus special guests. Anthony Peake, author of the ground breaking book 'Is There Life After Death - The Extraordinary Science Of What Happens When You Die' will give a talk as well as a spine tingling 'fright night' evening. The event is being organised with MARA, which investigate UFOs, paranormal phenomena, alien sightings, ghosts, poltergeists, apparitions, psychic phenomena, ESP, remote viewing, earth mysteries, forteana and antigravity in the Merseyside and North West area of England. Janette Fleming, Halton Borough Council's Reader Development Officer, said: "Once again we are holding this celebration of all that is unexplained and paranormal. "Throughout the week MARA members will be on hand to answer any questions on the paranormal or to look at any 'spooky' evidence captured on film or video. "As always, the highlight to the week is Friday 'fright night', a spine tingling evening - Some of the material featured on 'fright night' may not be suitable for the under-15s, so any child under that age must be accompanied by (brave) adults!"
